Occupational therapy is a discipline based on the analysis and activities relating to the areas of personal care, work, and leisure. The OT assistant supports the occupational therapist in the treatment of functional or adaptive problems. Physiotherapy prevents, detects, corrects and improves problems with the functioning of musculo-skeletal, neurological, pulmonary and cardiovascular systems. The physiotherapist assistant supports the physiotherapist in the treatment of problems caused by diseases, accidents or birth defects.
