Social Support Worker Diploma
Contribute to the well-being of others! Help and support, with respect and empathy, people experiencing personal, family and social challenges, with the aim of contributing to their well-being and giving them back the power to act.
Description
At the end of this Social Support Worker Diploma, the student will be able to greet and accompany, respectfully and with empathy, people facing personal, interpersonal and social challenges, with the aim of contributing to their well-being. The helping relation is at the very heart of all his/her interventions. Through observation and his/her professional judgment, he/she assesses the person’s needs and uses intervention techniques that are appropriate depending on the situation, and he/she ensures the follow-up and reassessment of actions implemented in order to give back the power to act to the vulnerable clients he/she assists. While being self-sufficient, he/she is able to work as part of a team. As the key player, he/she possesses the ability to collaborate both with other health services and with the community and the entourage of the person you are assisting.
